A youth organization in Mexico, named German Crew, took a boring and non-descript hillside and turned it into a beautiful and breathtaking piece of art.
The group worked with both local residents and government officials to refresh the houses located on a hill in the Palmitas district (Pachuca, Mexico). According to My Modern Met, the project required over 215,000 square feet of paint that spanned across 209 houses. The German Crew worked very closely with the 452 residents to do the project and the families were able to help with color selection (as well as having a nice fresh coat of paint on their house).
By working collaborative, it’s amazing what people can achieve. Hats off to the German Crew, community and the local Palmitas officials.
